CARLI Updates

• The Commercial Products Committee is looking for a chair or co-chairs for next year. Michele expressed interest and will work with Jenny and Nicole on next steps
• Jenny has a meeting with MIT Press coming up to talk about an ebook package
• Jenny is trying to gather information about historical FTE and budgets that she could anonymously share with vendors in upcomin gmeetings. A few members indicated that they have this information handy already. Jenny will send out an email to CARLI libraries to see if there are others that have and are willing to share this information.
• Nicole provided a brief update on the FY23 cycle. Total subscriptions are down about 1% from last year, but the spend is about the same. At least one library still needs to make selections, so these numbers are preliminary.
• Elizabeth shared that CARLI has a contract in place with Wiley for FY23. CARLI libraries will have access to all subject areas from 2018-June 2023. More details can be found at the following site: https://www.carli.illinois.edu/products-services/collections-management/carli-ebook-program

Annual project

• A draft of the year-end report was presented and approved by the committee. Marie will email Margaret Chambers with the committee's completed report.

Decisions

• Minutes from the April meeting were approved.
