Register now for "Introduction to Scholarly Communication Including the Nuts and Bolts of Institutional Repositories" to be held  Friday, April 11 at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

This day-long event organized by the CARLI Collections Working Group will offer a practical introduction to and discussion of the issues related to setting up a scholarly communication program and institutional repository, with feedback from librarians already involved in the process.

Agenda includes

• An overview and practical considerations
• Institutional repositories: current projects
• Scholarly communication software platforms

The program will be free to those at CARLI member institutions; however, registration is required. Librarians attending are encouraged to bring interested teaching faculty or administrators.
