Revised CARLI Bylaws Approved

The CARLI Board of Directors is pleased to announce that by a vote of the membership the Bylaws of the consortium have been amended. The vote was overwhelmingly in favor of the proposed amendments, with 98% of ballots cast in support of the revisions. 72% of all Governing members cast ballots. The revised Bylaws are available on the CARLI website. We believe that the changes will strengthen the organization and allow CARLI to efficiently and effectively serve all of its members.

A summary of the changes will be sent in the Executive Director’s regular quarterly update to directors in early January. In addition, the staff will prepare individual mailings to all members, detailing the impact of changes in membership structure and benefits and providing instructions on the preparation of revised membership agreements. This mailing will be sent to Directors at all CARLI member institutions in late January.
