Decisions

• Patrick Brown was selected to take minutes.
• The September 2015 minutes were approved.
• Meeting adjourned at 10:40 am.

Announcements

• Elizabeth announced that there is still one vacancy on the Preservation Committee and encouraged committee members to look out for interested potential members at Friday’s Fall Open House.

Discussion Items

• Fall open house.
  • The event is this Friday. Currently there are 50 Registrants.
• Annual Project:
  • Mary will do February’s Digitalization/New Print section
  • Patrick and Ann will send Beth info for her section by the end of the week.
  • Elizabeth would like writers to include a short bio of PB and Ann in each entry and include links to the previous entries in the series.
• Webliography 
  • Most members are promising to finish before the November meeting. Jenny has finished Exhibits and Mold, Pests, and the Environment. Everyone will probably be contributing to the AV section later. The Annual Project will also be added to the AV section. Recommendations for additional resources will need a sentence or two about how the resource is valuable as a Preservation Resource. Additions and Removals need to be voted on. 
• Open House/Workshop/ In person meeting in April
  • Miriam is looking for space to have Workshop at UIUC on April 18. The primary issue is that we would like to include a tour of Josh Harris’s lab, but finding a space large enough for the rest of the open house would be difficult. Having part of the workshop at CARLI and then the tour on campus was discussed. 
  • The committee’s In Person meeting will be on Tuesday, April 19.  The agenda will primarily include a post mortem of the Monday workshop and to start planning for next year. Josh Harris will also be invited to part of the meeting to provide feedback on the annual project.

Tasks Assigned

•    Members of the committee will have their Webliography links checked and additions given to the other members prior to the next meeting.
