I apologize for the service outage this afternoon. I was making network changes and created a route loop that caused our primary and secondary networks to go into a disabled state. This outage took longer than normal to resolve because I needed to contact campus networking staff to bring the disabled ports back online.
I obviously need to make some changes to our network plans. There are two changes I can think of right now:
1) I will look into making changes to our network to make sure I can immediately enable any ports that go offline.
