The Pritzker Military Museum & Library Special Collections is looking for an intern beginning in May of 2017. This is a unique opportunity for a student or recent graduate to get hands on experience cataloging historical artifacts (3D Objects). This is a paid part-time position (20-25 hours per week) that will begin between May 1 and May 22, 2017 depending upon scheduling.
The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is hiring a single Hunter Collection Cataloging Intern. Under the guidance of a mentor, the Hunter Collection Interns will be organizing, cataloging, and possibly scanning posters, photographs, artifacts, and other special collection materials from the World War I Hunter Collection. This work will be done at the library's remote facility off the Brown Line in the North Center Neighborhood. This position requires some experience or familiarly with MARC 21, RDA, and cataloging into the OCLC database. Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
