Mural (PRCC_03_0001_0010_0003)
From Puerto Rican Cultural Center Collection (University of Illinois at Chicago Library) in CARLI Digital Collections.

The Puerto Rican Cultural Center Digital Collection illustrates the rich history of the Juan Antonio Corretjer Puerto Rican Cultural Center (PRCC) in Chicago. The PRCC is a non-profit community based organization established in 1973 by the Puerto Rican and the Latina/o community in Chicago to address both the social and cultural needs of the community.

The digital images in the collection were produced as part of a collaborative project between the Special Collections Department at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the University of Illinois Graduate School of Information and Library Science, and the PRCC.

This image taken in West Town (Chicago) shows a mural of several people standing together with flags raised, on yellow and green background.
