The ACM Digital Library is the largest and most comprehensive Full-text and Bibliographic database in the fields of Computer Science & Information Technology with over 250,000 full text articles and over 7,000,000 references in the bibliographic database.

What problem does it solve?

This is a must-have information resource for students, educators, and researchers in the fields of computer science and information technology.

Is it the only product or service that does this?

The product is unique in the content and technology platform, but does have several main competitors in the market for computer science content, including the IEEE and Springer.

Will this require integration with an existing CARLI product or service?

Yes. This is a standalone product, but it will integrate well with most library information platforms.

What is the advantage of doing this consortially?

There are significant pricing discounts provided to consortia based on the number of member libraries purchasing annual subscriptions to the ACM Digital Library. These discounts range from 16.7% for 3 libraries purchasing the product to over 75% discount for approximately 125 consortium members subscribing.
