What problem does it solve?

We are IL libraries and it is good for us to provide IL users with the major IL paper\'s historical archive.

Is it the only product or service that does this?

ProQuest is the only vendor that provides FULL contents because ProQuest owns the copyrigyt. NewsBank also sells the product, but the NewBank version has only front page contents.

Will this require integration with an existing CARLI product or service?

What is the advantage of doing this consortially?

CARLI Actions on this Product

While this would be a valuable product, the pricing that we have received is very high. The PSVC does not see any financial benefit to a consortial purchase at this time.
