Endeavor and ExLibris acquired by Francisco Partners

Francisco Partners has acquired Endeavor Information Systems and Ex Libris, the vendors of Voyager and SFX, respectively. CARLI anticipates no immediate changes in service for CARLI libraries using either or both Voyager and SFX.

Francisco Partners has acquired Endeavor Information Systems and Ex Libris, the vendors of Voyager and SFX, respectively. The new combined organization will be called the Ex Libris Group.

Endeavor is the vendor/developer of several products including Voyager, the foundation for CARLI’s I-Share system. Ex Libris is the vendor/developer of several products including SFX which CARLI has implemented as a link resolver system for a number of CARLI member libraries.

CARLI plans to continue to operate both Voyager and SFX without interruption for the foreseeable future.
