Copyright Basics & Library Reserves Workshop
Date: March 20, 2009 From: 9:00 am — 4:00 pm Place: University of Illinois at Chicago Please use the Halsted/Taylor Parking Structure (HTPS) for daily parking. Please see the lot marked HTPS on the map. The Program will be in the building marked CCC on the map. Parking is approximately $12 per day (variable rate parking, starts at $3 for a half hour up to a full day parking). If you wish to pay by credit card, please enter the parking structure on Taylor. Intended audience: The staffs of CARLI member libraries. Librarians and staff who are interested in copyright and how it applies to libraries and library materials especially the materials placed on reserve within the library. Registration: Required. Open now until the workshop is full to any CARLI library staff on a first come-first served basis. Space is limited to 100 participants. A waitlist will be established. Registration will close on March 13. Fees: This program is free to individuals from CARLI member institutions. Lunch will be provided. Travel costs and any parking/hotel fees are the responsibility of the attendee. Tentative Agenda
