SFX New Implementation Training
Date: Tuesday, August 21, 2007 Time: 9:00AM-5:00PM (45 minute lunch) Location: Trainer: Rosalyn Metz, Ex Libris Lunch will be provided. Intended Audience: Libraries who will be implementing a NEW instance of SFX and have signed the "Institutional Acknowledgement of SFX Software License and Instance Installation Fees” and have completed the SFX Implementation Survey. Any spaces still available will be reserved for those who need "refresher" training. Once the new implementers have registered, individuals who have attended one of the Overview sessions this month, plus individuals who have responded to the SFX Training Needs Survey, will be offered "first dibs" on the refresher training. Any spaces remaining after that will be opened to all libraries interested in refresher training. Session Information: The full-day SFX training session will be a real implementation workday. Participants will need to gather information about their libraries' database subscriptions and e-journal holdings, and submit this information to the SFX trainers in advance of the training. For this reason, we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Registration: Limited to a maximum of three individuals from each institution. Libraries may register just one or two individuals if there are not three whose schedules can accommodate the training. Each person should register individually. Registration will remain open until the class is full. |
