Cataloging in the I-Share Environment: A Primer for Newbies

Need to Catalog an E-Journal?  It's as Easy as Following the Flowchart!
November 16, 2011 9:30-11 AM

In 2009, the CatER Task Force revised recommendations for cataloging electronic resources within the I-Share environment.  As part of this work, the Task Force put together some mini-reports and flowcharts designed to assist libraries with their catalog needs.  Kristin Martin (UIC) will walk through the steps of catalog e-journals on an individual level, looking at the different decisions catalogers need to make and the specific recommendations of the CatER Task Force. Participants are encouraged to review the mini-report in advance and follow along during the webinar:http://www.carli.illinois.edu/mem-prod/I-Share/secure/cat/cater_ejournals_mini.pdf.
