CARLI Collections Enhancement Awards Program Proposals Funded FY2010
The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI) supports cooperative collection management and collection development by sponsoring projects and acquisition programs on a variety of subject areas. For FY2010, the program had two sections, awards for Collaborative Digitization / Collection Partnerships and awards for Access and Analysis.
For FY 2010, a theme of "Peace / Justice / Conflict" was developed for the Collaborative Digitization / Collection Partnerships Awards.
Since 1985 a variety of cooperative acquisition projects have brought together libraries from across the State to work together to work towards an outstanding State Collection in Illinois. CARLI prides itself on the amount of cooperation between large universities and small colleges, private and public institutions, and special and public libraries.
