Modifying and Submitting Image Files for SFX

Libraries with SFX instances on the CARLI server may submit images to the CARLI office to coordinate the interfaces of SFX with the rest of their library's website and institution. Historically, libraries have submitted new banner and header images for the SFX menu* and A-Z list. Participating libraries may also submit new icons for the SFX menus and SFX buttons. Additional information about files that can be modified or replaced is available in the SFX General and Advanced User's Guides.

Libraries are responsible for determining image size and color specifications. Files should be converted to the *.gif format prior to submission.

The following information is intended to help SFX administrators experiment with altering existing images and creating new ones for their SFX instances.

*Libraries can upload their own images for the Simplified Menu Template.
