bX Recommender Service Interest Survey

All libraries that use CARLI’s hosted implementation of the Ex Libris SFX link resolver have access to a free trial of the new Ex Libris bX Recommender Service from July 22 through August 20, 2009. The bX Recommender Service provides researchers using SFX suggestions for additional sources they may be interested in based on analysis of SFX search logs from libraries and research institutions around the world. For more information about bX, see Ex Libris website at http://www.exlibrisgroup.com/category/bXOverview.

Libraries interested in continuing to use bX after the trial ends on August 20 may extend their bX service from August 21 through the end of the current SFX contract (March 30, 2010) at a CARLI discounted price. We intend to provide uninterrupted access following the trial for all libraries who wish to continue the service and who respond to the interest survey by Monday, August 17, 2009.  Please take a moment to fill out the following web form to help us gauge your interest.
