Company and product info - www.xrefer.com The service - www.xreferplus.com - The online reference library This is a multi-publisher, multi-volume reference database. There are 3 packages to choose from: 1. Xreferplus100 - The library chooses their favorite 100 titles from the growing list of reference works (currently 235). Changes can be made at any time during the year which is nice because we're always adding great new encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases and more. 2. Xreferplus Unlimmited - You get all 235+ titles plus any new ones that come out during the subscription. 3. Specialist Reference - A list of 25 Premium encyclopedias which can be added a la carte to either of the above packages.

Describe the scope & content in detail.

Very broad subject coverage. Mostly the database is made up of 1 and 2 volume subject specific encyclopedias and dictionaries from 55 publishers. It's meant to be a great portal to check facts, find definitions, and browse a new topic for reasearch. This isn't journals, newspapers or dissertations. It is AUTHOROTATIVE refererence!

What is the intended core audience for the product?

Very broad. Users include learners and researchers from 9th grade on up through post-grad. We sell to high schools and half of the Ivy League universities.
