Based on faculty feedback and interest at colleges and universities big and small, bepress has put together a flexible package of journals to enhance undergraduate education. We want to help you and your faculty bring top-flight academic research and scholarship to the classroom, in a way that students will find useful, engaging, up-to-date, and practical. For this package, we have suggested eight titles, but your institution is free to select titles from our entire collection. Describe the scope & content in detail.-High quality. Editors and authors come from top U.S. and international universities. Articles are packed with insights from research and written with an eye to a broad audience. -Timely. Quick publication means students can read scholarly research on today’s pressing topics. -Intellectually exciting. Our journals help show students that classroom content relates to global news stories in the headlines, and put them in comfortable dialogue with high-level research. -Interdisciplinary. Well-suited for general studies and liberal arts core courses. -Affordable. bepress journals are low-priced, and yet include the best research coming out of the most prestigious scholarly institutions. Our journals are indexed in all the major services, including CINAHL, PubMed /MEDLINE , EconLit, Scopus, Thomson/ISI's Social Science and Science Citation Index, and Westlaw. Articles are crawled and indexed by search engines like Google and Google Scholar. What is the intended core audience for the product?The eight suggested titles are geared toward undergraduate institutions and graduate institutions with an emphasis on teaching as well as research. |
