The Oxford Digital Reference Shelf is an exciting initiative offering libraries the opportunity to purchase electronic editions of an expanding range of Oxford's award-winning scholarly reference titles. Each Oxford DRS title can be accessed as a stand-alone resource with its own URL, and each site offers a range of search and browse options. All titles are also fully cross-searchable with titles in the Oxford Reference Online: Premium Collection. This means that Premium Collection subscribers can access the Oxford DRS titles they purchase from within the highly acclaimed Oxford Reference Online interface – as well as independently. What's more, hosting of Oxford Digital Reference Shelf titles is free for Premium Collection subscribers! The Digital Reference Shelf currently includes the following titles: Encyclopedia of the Enlightenment Encyclopedia of the Evolution Encyclopedia of Global Change International Encyclopedia of Dance Oxford Dictionary of Byzantium Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt Oxford Encyclopedia of Food and Drink in America Oxford Encyclopedia of the Reformation Oxford Dictionary of the Renaissance Oxford Encyclopedia of Theatre and Performance Encyclopedia of the Middle Ages Oxford Encyclopedia of Economic History Oxford Encyclopedia of American Literature Encyclopedia of Latinos and Latinas in the United States Oxford Encyclopedia of British Literature Oxford Encyclopedia of Children’s Literature International Encyclopedia of Linguistics Oxford Encyclopedia of Rhetoric Dictionary of American Family Names Oxford Encyclopedia of Mesoamerican Cultures Oxford Companion to World Exploration Grove Encyclopedia of Decorative Arts Encyclopedia of Maritime History Grove Encyclopedia of Classical Art & Architecture Black Women in America Oxford Encyclopedia of Women in World History In March of 2008, Oxford will add the Encyclopedia of Semiotics and the Oxford Encyclopedia of the Modern World to the DRS collection. In May of 2008, Oxford will also add the Encyclopedia of Social Work (20th edition) to DRS. These upcoming releases are included in the offer and are available at pre-publication prices.
