Collection Publishing Request or Information Update Form - Have the CARLI Office add your collection to CARLI Digital Collections website (i.e. make the collection "live") and provide topic, media, and descriptive information about the collection. CARLI CONTENTdm Training

CARLI staff offer training sessions for CARLI libraries implementing CONTENTdm for the first time. Advanced CONTENTdm training is under development.

Basic CONTENTdm Training Exercises for CONTENTdm Version 5 are available through the following link: http://www.carli.illinois.edu/mem-prod/contentdm/CDMexercises.html. Please note that these are secure documents and you may be prompted to log in to view them. If you have any trouble accessing the exercises, please contact the CARLI Office. The example files used during the CARLI CONTENTdm training session are also available for download from the Exercise page.

OCLC sometimes offers web-based overviews on using CONTENTdm and posts archived web-based training sessions using Microsoft LiveMeeting on the Training page of their USC website. Please remember that these sessions are not sponsored by CARLI. They are given by OCLC for all users of CONTENTdm, and, therefore, some of the information contained in the session does not apply to our consortial environment (such as procedures for publishing a collection, creating users and collections, and server administration). Should you have any questions on how our consortial use of CONTENTdm differs from the methods shown in the OCLC Web session, please review the CARLI-specific Information posted above.
