To modify your links from FirstSearch to holdings data in your Voyager catalog

1. Point your browser to http://firstsearch.oclc.org/admin. Sign on with your FirstSearch username and password. Usernames take the form ###-###-###.

   (If you have lost track of your username or password, contact the ILLINET OCLC Office at 217-785-1532.)

2. Click on Linking.


3. Click on Web Library Catalogs.


4. Edit the linking URL.
   • To remove the link-to-holdings altogether, clear all the fields on the page.
   
   
   • To redirect the link to your Voyager catalog, edit the URL in, for instance, the ISSN Search Results URL field. Use the model:
     • https://i-share.carli.illinois.edu/xxx/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local& BOOL1=as+a+phrase&FLD1=ISSN+%28ISSN%29&CNT=20&SAB1=
     For OCLC Search Results
     • check the box to add leading zeros
     • select the radio button to add the ocn/ocm prefix
     • use the model
       • https://i-share.carli.illinois.edu/xxx/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&BOOL1=all+of+these&FLD1=OCLC+Number+%28OCLC%29&CNT=20&SAB1=
     Replace "xxx" with your library's three-letter code.
     
     Note that WebVoyage URLs are case sensitive.

   • To change the text the user will see as the link to local holdings, edit the contents of the Library Name in Link Text field.


5. Click on Save Changes.


6. Click on Exit.


7. Test your results.
