I-Share Voyager Item Type Codes

The following Item Type codes were created for consortial use. Do not change the codes themselves in Voyager System Administration. You can customize the Display name and the OPAC Display of these codes to suit individual library needs in System Administration/SystemWide/Item Types.

If additional codes are needed (i.e., you’ve exhausted this list), please consult the CARLI Office before creating them in your database.

** The "ERROR" code is for fall-out types during the conversion or for your library’s Bulk Import Rules. The suffixes above are: N for Noncirculating, RE for Request Exempt, and LR for Local Request.
