- Digital Preservation Joint Subcommittee Update: The subcommittee held its first meeting on September 29th which was primarily used to brainstorm on what form its final document/statement should take. The group then decided its basic action plan would be to create a 12 question needs-assessment survey targeted to a group consisting of various campus types representing the governing membership in CARLI. The plan also calls for contacting vendors to aid in understanding potential product possibilities. In short such an assessment would “take the temperature”, helping to understanding needs and gather practical information before writing the document commences in November. The Subcommittee will next convene with a conference call on October 16th.
- Spring 2010 program: Lynne will submit a program proposal for a spring workshop on using AvSAP (Audio Visual Self Assessment) software by the deadline at the end of October.
