- Overall feeling is that this sounds fine
- Hilary will send to Margaret Chambers for possible posting in newsletter or blog
Voyager Testing Script
- Script will provide guidance to libraries as to how to test their OPAC instance for problems or unexpected glitches during upgrade demo periods
- Script should provide a framework for the testing of each individual OPAC function
- Some items/questions will be relevant to all libraries; others will only apply to specific local OPACs
- Next Voyager upgrade will take place in early to mid January; would be useful to have at least a draft test script by then
- An upgraded test instance is up now; Paige will send details to the group
- Create script draft on the team wiki (page name: Testing script)
- Develop test questions/items for own section
- Ok to suggest questions for other sections, if desired
