Meeting #7 via Phone Conference
March 1, 2007 at 1:30 p.m.

CARLI Staff present: Jessica Gibson, Cathy Salika, and Casey Sutherland

Approval of the Minutes of the January 30, 2007 meeting was tabled until the next meeting.
- Cathy Salika was asked to write a historical document concerning the legacy of the ILCSO/I-Share data, which has now been completed and will be on the CARLI website soon.
- March 20 ICAT Forum
- The spring forum will be held at Columbia College on March 20. Registration is now open and 54 people are already registered. ICAT finalized plans for the forum. The deadline for presenters to get their handouts to the CARLI Office was set at March 15th.
- On March 16, at the CARLI board meeting, the Products and Services Vetting Committee is recommending that CARLI purchase a product from Syndetics Solutions, which provides links to Table of Contents, cover images, and reviews. The service would be purchased from the vendor by CARLI and available through the Universal Catalog.
- Jessica shared that the Digital Collections Users Group will be asking for ICAT’s recommendations on creating a collection level record for the OPAC for digital collections.
The next meeting will be a conference call on May 4, 2007, at 10:00 a.m.
