Conference Call 11:00 – 2:00

- CARLI Report - Jen
- CRL Membership Subsidy. An official announcement went out regarding the CRL membership subsidy CARLI is offering. Information is available on the CARLI website
- Grant Writing Workshop. Alice Scott, from the Illinois State Library, is offering her grant writing workshop. Registration is now open.
- CONTENTdm. CARLI is preparing to test the newly released version of CONTENTdm. More information on the upgrade will be forthcoming
- IUG Report - Karen
- IUG Conference call. ACQ/SER is invited to participate in the IUG conference call regarding the charge on January 16, 2009
- Future of the ILS. Thoughts on the future of the ILS should be sent to IUG or Carlos
- Old Business
- Voyager ACQ/SER FAQ. Ideas for a new FAQ name? -None. FAQ will be posted on the website. Jen will send out the URL before it is announced. Changes and/or additions to the FAQ will be addressed monthly. Contributions will also be solicited from users.
- Mini-Forums
- Greenville College was selected as the southern location.
- The southern mini-forum will be confirmed for March 18, 2009
- The mini-forums will include a 1/2 hour opener and two 1 hour breakout sessions based on staff size and department
- Jen requested coffee, tea, and water service for the forums
- Flipcharts will be provided by CARLI
- Opening questions will be sent out approximately 1 week prior to the first forum
- Sharon will work on the registration announcement, including the structure and purpose of the mini-forums, and send it out to the group

- Upgrade Script - Drafts should be completed before our February meeting
- New Business
- Meeting with IUG to Discuss Charge. An email will be sent out regarding the exact meeting time for the January 16th conference call. The future of the ILS discussion is in its early stages and will also be discussed during this meeting.
- March Meeting/Conference Call. The March open conference call will be cancelled.The group will still meet on March 13th, 2009
- June Open Conference Call. The June conference call may be held in late May or early June to discuss the Voyager testing scripts
- Acquisitions/Serials Access Workshop. Ideas for Possible Agenda. Send an email out to the list asking for helpful/interesting reports that libraries use, as well as reports libraries have difficulty with. Allow time/space for individuals to work together on problematic reports. Look at existing reports and work on modifying them for specific needs. More pondering required.
- IACQ/ICAT Joint Forum. An afternoon breakout session for ACQ/SER needs to be planned. Possible Topics: - Testing Scripts. The agenda should be finalized by registration (late March or early April)
