- InteLex Past Masters – Declined based on interest levels
- Gale Virtual Reference Library – Staff review
- Will libraries get credit for existing titles?
- Do libraries have to continue to get print?
- Has Gale done deals for GVRL with other consortia?
- ARL’s LibQual+ - Declined based on interest levels
- Mary Ann Liebert – 35% increase is unacceptable
- It is a valuable resource for the consortium.
- What is the maximum increase that we will allow?
- Possible options – stick to 5% cap; give individual subscription prices; some combination of consortial subsidization and library cost; reduced list of titles at reduced price; possibly subsidize thru June 2008 to give libraries time to prepare; phase in increase over several years
- Put together additional usage statistics
- Sage Premier Offer – Sage has informed CARLI that they are going to proceed with the discounted offer. Pricing to follow once they contact those libraries that have expressed interest.
- Licensing Principles –
- Follow-up discussion – circulate list and discussion of principles; once principles are in place, the ERWG should give some thought to training or workshops for libraries in negotiation and contract details.
- Old business – none
- New business –
- Eresource web pages
- Draft of Licenses and Contracts pages look good; update information; possible use of pop-ups containing additional detail
