- CARLI Website Development –
- Brokering –
- Spring brokering cycle (FY2008) – update
- Review of current proposals -
- ERWG will review the 4 current proposals and recommend tentatively by March 14.
- In April, take a look at the list and see what the gaps are for journals.
- Member proposals forwarded by PSVC –
If ERWG gets a proposal from PSVC for review, ERWG should decide that either it is not a proposal to pursue at this time, we would like more information or we would like a trial to further evaluate the product.
Possibilities: 1) No 2) Yes, therefore trial and survey for membership
- Matrix of Licensing Terms –
* ERWG would like to see a draft of this prior to launch.
- Development of licensing principles –
- Include ICOLC principles. This is an opportunity for public input as well. Are there certain points from the CARLI RFP that should be included, such as State of Illinois certifications?
- Temporarily adopt NERL licensing principles and tailor to CARLI specifications and needs. Discuss in detail at June ERWG meeting.
- Send ERWG members a Word version of NERL principles.
- One time purchase recommendations survey –
- Staff is investigating member cost-share models
- Send survey reminder and a close date of March 9, 2007.
- Survey responses to be circulated to ERWG members on March 12, 2007.
- New Business –
- Report from the February 16 meeting of Working Group chairs
- Chairs meet 2 times per year. Need more people there than just the chairs. Digital Collections, ERMS, selling of weeded materials, last copy issue, etc. were prominent topics.
- ERWG member terms expiring.
