- Mary Ann Liebert follow-up – after further discussion with Liebert staff here is the renewal proposal:
Core title list (56 titles) - $28,089 (a 5% increase per the contract)
Titles added in 2007 and 2008 (7 titles) - $7,684
Total 2008 costs - $35,772
Liebert has proposed adding the cost of the new titles as a one-time expense. This cost is based on 4 copies of each of the new titles. They have also asked that we amend the contract to include language which would preclude the cancellation of currently held print titles. 21 participants have print holdings ranging from $465 (Lakeview College of Nursing) to $12,242 (University of Illinois at Chicago). They have also asked that we amend the contract to codify a plan for adding new titles, such as a multiplier of 4.

- New business
One-time purchase funds – we need to begin discussing how we will make plans for utilizing funds for a one-time purchase for 2008. We would like to discuss both the approach for making these decisions and possible products. A very rough list of offers that have come to us or been discussed is attached.
Updates
E-resource web pages – CARLI staff have been meeting to discuss these and we will be making some changes to the page with contract information, separating this into 2 charts: one for the products for which we have subscriptions and one for the products we have purchased. The pertinent information for these two types of products is different and this will allow a more specific focus. We will send out a note to let you know when the revised version is ready for viewing and comment.
Licensing training – we have received information from ALCTS about the possible costs but this did not include any information about the proposed content. This has been requested so we can decide whether we should be pursuing this further or considering other training options.
Interest survey – this should be ready to roll out shortly after the selection system closes on the 19th. Rather than launch two separate surveys we will add a second section to the interest survey to include the e-books questions discussed previously.
