1.    Announcements

• Update on one-time purchase proposals – vendors have agreed to the following since our February meeting:
  • Sage - dropped their price $3,000 and will provide MARC records at no additional cost
  • HSUS – Cambridge will accept a one-time payment of $18,000 for the maintenance costs
  • Alexander Street Press – will accept a payment of $40,000 per database for 10 years of maintenance costs
• The attached summary document will be going to the CARLI Board for their meeting on 3/14.

3.   E-book symposium – Following up on our discussion at the February meeting we need a couple of volunteers to work with a subgroup from the Collections Working Group to plan this.  We need to try and have a proposal ready by the end of March at the latest to allow us to plan a late fall event in preparation for our 2009 e-book purchase decisions.

4.    MINUTES –February are attached.  Notes from December and January are needed.

5)    Reschedule our call for April – will 4/7 at the same time work for everyone?
