Decisions:

Minutes of the September 21st meeting were approved prior to the meeting.
The Board amended and approved the recommendations from the I-Share Assessment Task Force for calculating the FY2010-FY2012 I-Share assessments.
The Board accepted the recommendation for FY2010-FY2012 I-Share assessment amounts from the Finance Committee.
The I-Share Assessment Task Force was discharged and thanked for their excellent work.
The meeting was adjourned at 12:15 p.m.

Announcements:

Preparations for the January 2, 2008 launch of the new ILDS are underway. Lanter will begin site visits during the week of November 10. Development of a web-based label and manifest system is underway. Delivery bags, supplies and printed training materials will be delivered to all sites during the week of December 10.
CARLI will contribute resources to Phase II of the eXtensible catalog project at the University of Rochester. Anticipated dates for Phase II are January 2008-June, 2009.
CARLI staff is collecting names of institutions interested in serving as VuFind early adopters.
Implementation of the IT audit recommendations is proceeding.
Fall e-resource brokering is open through November 19.

Tasks assigned:

Staff will notify institutions of the new I-Share assessments for FY2010-FY2012.
