Collection Development and Access Librarian - Illinois Valley Community College

The Collection Development Librarian (Full Time, Level 9, Exempt) provides leadership in the management of library resources and in providing service to the students, faculty and staff; facilitates access to print and electronic resources through implementation of conventional and emerging means; and guides all collection development and technical service functions.

Master's Degree in an ALA accredited Library Science program; experience with library automation systems; teaching or training experience; and customer service skills required. Supervisory experience and the ability to learn independently and excel in a rapidly changing, team environment preferred.
