CARLI Digitized Book of the Month – May 2015

From: Bradley University

Anaga (1985)

Congratulations, graduates! The month of May marks the time when many colleges and universities will be holding their commencement activities. Graduating seniors will be donning rented caps and gowns, fidgeting through ceremonies and speakers, and waiting to hear their name called so they can walk across the stage and receive their empty diploma holder (diplomas to be mailed later). Then there are the graduation parties and unwrapping copies of Oh, The Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. I still have my copy, with a congratulatory message inscribed by my mother inside.

This collection of photos is from the 1985 yearbook for Bradley University in Peoria, IL. The photos from the graduation ceremony are spread out over several pages, so be sure to click through to view them all. This weekend the 2015 graduates from Bradley University will be assembling at the Peoria Civic Center for commencement ceremonies.

Congratulations and best wishes for success and happiness to all of the 2015 graduates!
