Getting to the CARLI Office
From the North The drive to the CARLI Office from downtown Chicago takes about two and a half hours on a clear traffic day. Take I-90/I-94 East to I-57 South (Memphis, exit #63). Take I-57 for about 120 miles to I-74 East (Indianapolis, exit #237A). Drive about 1.5 miles on I-74 and exit at Prospect Ave. (Champaign, exit #181). Turn right (south) at Prospect Ave. and continue about 2.5 miles to Kirby Ave. (intersection with a light). Turn left on Kirby Ave. to State St. (.6 miles). Turn right on State St one block. The CARLI Office is located on the 3rd floor of Trade Centre Building on the east side of State St. Use the entrance on the west side of the building, under the black awning, and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The CARLI office, Suite 303 will be just to your right. From the South Take I-57 North to Curtis Rd (Champaign, exit #232). Drive about 2.5 miles on Curtis Rd to US-45. Turn left (north) at US-45 and continue about 2 miles to Kirby Ave. Turn left on Kirby Ave. to State St. (1 block). Turn left on State St one block. The CARLI Office is located on the 3rd floor of Trade Centre Building on the east side of State St. Use the entrance on the west side of the building, under the black awning, and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. The CARLI office, Suite 303 will be just to your right. From the East Take I-74 west to Prospect Ave. (Champaign, exit #181). Turn left (south) at Prospect Ave. and continue about 2.5 miles to Kirby Ave. (intersection with a light). Turn left on Kirby Ave. to State St. (.6 miles). Turn right on State St one block. The CARLI Office is located on the 3rd floor of Trade Centre Building on the east side of State St. Use the entrance on the west side of the building, under the black awning, and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. ParkingFree parking is available for CARLI visitors in any of the unmarked spaces in the Trade Centre lot immediately west of the building or in any unmarked space in the large Trade Centre lot on the west side of State Street.
