The diligent instruction librarian can spend a great deal of time reading scholarly articles and attending workshops on instructional design and pedagogy. These are beneficial professional development activities, but they often lack a certain degree of practicality.  The CARLI Instruction Team wants to get to the heart of the matter by showcasing portions of actual successful library instruction sessions.

The Library Instruction Showcase will present a selection of innovative elements of instruction sessions that demonstrate an opportunity for meaningful learning and active participation on the part of the students.

Agenda:

09:30 - 10:00am Registration & beverages
10:00 - 10:25am Welcome & opening remarks
